Chiba! Choushi**!
It was a calm, good place. However, the live was hot! It was fun! It felt like there were a lot of ROCK fans in the audience.
There is no mistake in Chiba. There is no mistake in Rock.
Out of 7 people, 5 play an instrument, a ROCK-rascal group. I mean there is no mistake in kanjani8, right? And the remaining two people create laughter.
There is no mistake that kanjani8 is a combination of music and laughter. There is no mistake in those who always support us, in eighters who walk by our side.
Really, thank you. I love you.
Chiba eighters, than you for your hard work! Thanks. We’ll do it again sometime.
Tomorrow it’s Ibaraki! Let’s have a great live together! Treat us well, ok?
Thank you. From the vocalist of a group of 7 Cow Herding Stars* meant only for the eighters. My Weaving Princesses*, be filled with love.

*- The Cow Herding Star (Hikoboshi) and Weaving Princess (Orihime) refer back to the legend of the Tanabata festival. Orihime was Sky-god’s daughter who was really good at weaving. Her father loved his daughter’s work, so she tried her best with it, but this resulted her being very lonely, because she didn’t have a chance to meet anyone or fall in love. Her father saw his daughter’s misery, so he introduced her to Hikoboshi, who was living and working on the other side of the Milkyway. The two fell in love immediately and got married. But now being happily in love, Orihime stopped weaving and that got her father very upset, so he banished the two lovers on different sides of the Milkyway and forbade them to meet. But this made Orihime so sad that she still couldn’t weave. Seeing his daughter’s misery again the Sky-god allowed them to meet on the 7th day of the 7th month (Note the date of the entry!) if Orihime did her job well.
But the first time they tried to meet, they couldn’t because there was no bridge on the Milkyway. A flock of magpies saw that and promised to create a bridge on the Milkyway every year so the lovers could meet. But if it’s raining, the magpies can’t create the bridge and the lovers have to wait another year before they can meet.
How odd that I just happened to do a presentation on this legend and festival just a few weeks ago for one of my Japanese exams
**- Choushi is a city in Chiba.
